This is a Writ of Mandamus seeking direction to the respondents to pay all the petitioner's service benefits, salary, gratuity, backwages, Provident Fund and other pension benefits, based on his representation, dated 22.06.2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that he joined the service of the respondent Company on 11.03.1995 and relieved from the Tuticorin Port Trust with effect from May, 2002. Trust did not settle his dues including Provident Fund amount. So saying, the petitioner has given a representation dated 22.02.2016. But the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4.Considering the limited scope of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.02.2016, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eights weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
