BEFORE THE MADURAI BENCH OF MADRAS HIGH COURT DATED: 07.07.2025
CORAM:
THE HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE G.R.SWAMINATHAN in C.M.P(MD)No.7292 of 2021 in A.S(MD)No.227 of 2021 Mahendran ... Petitioner / Petitioner / Appellant Vs.
1.Chandrakantham 2.Rajalakshmi ... Contemnors / Respondents 1 & 2/ Respondents 1 & 2 PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the Contemnors / Respondents 1 and 2 for their willful disobedience of the order of this Court in C.M.P(MD)No.7292 of 2021 in A.S(MD)No.227 of 2021 dated 23.09.2021.
For Petitioner : Mr.G.Prabhu Rajadurai 1/3
ORDER
The petitioner herein filed C.M.P(MD)No.7292 of 2021 in A.S.No. 227 of 2021 seeking to restrain the respondents herein from encumbering or dealing with the property, which is the subject matter of the suit. The said CMP is disposed of by me with an observation that any encumbrance made during the pendency of the appeal will abide by the outcome of the appeal and further observed that the rights of the petitioner stood automatically protected. When I had not restrained the respondents from dealing with the property, this Contempt Petition is clearly not maintainable.
2.This Contempt Petition stands closed.
