This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner is that her neighbour has burnt dried leaves, which caused some fume and disturbance. Therefore, a complaint has been lodged before the respondent police. However, no action has been taken so far.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submit that since it is a dispute between neighbours and it is a petty case, the respondent police have not acted upon the petitioner's complaint. However, the parties have been called and advised not to precipitate the issue. He further submits that the counter party has also 2/4

lodged a complaint as against the petitioner, for which, a case in Crime No.70 of 2024 has been registered and after completion of investigation, a final report has also been filed. However, the petitioner's name was deleted from the said case.
