7.R.Krishnasamy ..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent to grant permission to the Petitioner to conduct Chithirai Festival 2017 of the Arulmigu Pambalamman Temple situated at Thulukkampatti Village, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District as a hereditary Trustee.

ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to 2nd Respondent to grant permission to the Petitioner to conduct Chithirai Festival 2017 of the Arulmigu Pambalamman Temple situated at Thulukkampatti Village, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District as a hereditary Trustee.

2.Heard Mr.M.R.Sreenivasan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Muruganantham, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6. 3.In respect of the same issue, this Court by order dated 17.04.2017 made in W.P.(MD) No.9771 of 2016 has passed the following order:

"6.Since the main issue in the writ petition, by the impugned order, has become infructuous this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, if any representation is made by the petitioners to the official respondents, the same may be considered in accordance with law and the same shall be disposed of as early as possible."

4.Since the subject matter of the present Writ Petition has already been dealt with and a direction was issued by this Court to the authorities concerned on 17.04.2017, this Writ Petition on the same subject matter is not maintainable and therefore, the same is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
