Respondent PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to transfer the patta of the land in Survey No.107/2 and Survey No.66/1A4B of Alagankulam group, Panaikulam Village, Ramanathapuram District to the name of D.M.Anwar Raja by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 27.03.2017. (prayer amended vide Court order, dated 27.06.2017 in W.M.P(MD). No.8885 of 2017).

The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to transfer the patta of the land in Survey No.107/2 and Servey No.66/1A4B of Alagankulam Group, Panikuam Village, Ramanathapuram District in the name of the petitioner by considering his representation dated 27.03.2017.

2.Heard Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the available materials on record.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the application of the petitioner was considered by the respondent and sought for death certificate, legal heirs certificate and no objection letter from the other https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

legal heirs to consider the application of the petitioner. If all the documents are furnished, the respondent would process the application and take appropriate decision.

4.In view of the above submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to furnish all the documents asked for by the respondent, in his letter dated 18.04.2017. On such production, the respondent shall pass orders, after providng oppourtunities to the petitioner and other necessary parties within a period of four weeks therefrom.

5. With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
