ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of his appeal dated 10.02.2025 pending in A.No.751 of 2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that the property situated in S.No.18/1 with an extent of 1 acre 36 cents in Ottaangulam Village, Tiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District is his ancestral property and the same has been in possession of the petitioner and other three persons. 2/6

5. The private respondents submitted an application before the 2nd respondent seeking transfer of patta in their name and the said application was ordered in their favour. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted an appeal before the 1st respondent in A.No.751 of 2025 dated 10.02.2025. The said appeal has not been considered by the 1st respondent till date. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.

6. The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that the appeal filed by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law.

7. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner in A.No.751 of 2025 dated 10.02.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and private respondents 3 to 6.

8. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
