ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the investigation based on the petitioner's compliant dated 15.06.2022, from the file of the second respondent to some other competent agency.
2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that one Lakshmikanthan introduced himself as a share broker and received money from the petitioner to the tune of Rs.40,50,000/- and not repaid the same. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint against him and for the same, CSR.No.434 of 2022 has been assigned. Subsequently, the petitioner came to know that the said Lakshmikanthan also cheated one Ramkumar. The said Ramkumar also lodged a complaint against the Lakshmikanthan, before the Sessions Court Police Station, Trichy and for the same, an FIR has been registered in Crime No.521 of 2022, for the offences under Section 147, 124(b), 120(b), 406, 420, 409, 294(b) and 506(2) IPC. Further, he pleaded to transfer the petitioner's complaint from the file of the second respondent to the file of the Sessions Court Police Station, Trichy. 2/4
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that in this case, enquiry is pending.
4.Recording the same, the first respondent is directed either to conduct an investigation based on the petitioner's complaint along with the Crime No. 521 of 2022 or conduct a separate enquiry and complete the same, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
