ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to sanction and disburse education loan for undertaking B.Sc.Nursing Course for a sum of Rs.4,84,000/- (Four Lakhs and Eighty Four Thousand only). 2.Heard Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Pala.Ramasamy, learned Standing Counsel who takes notice for the respondents. 3.The petitioner said to have filed an application for educational loan before the first respondent but the first respondent refused to receive the same. Hence, the petitioner has submitted an application before the third respondent who in turn forwarded the same to the first respondent by order dated 22.08.2016 which is still pending. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed for the relief stated supra. 4.When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondents would submit that they will consider the application of the petitioner as per the IBA guidelines and pass orders.

5.In the above circumstances, the first respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 22.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
