Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents No, 1 and 2 to produce the body or corpus of the petitioner's minor daughter namely, Swetha, D/o.Murugan, aged about 17 years before this Court by securing her from the respondent Nos. 3 to 11 and hand over the custody to the petitioner, by setting her at liberty forthwith.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by V. BHARATHIDASAN, J.) Alleging that the petitioner's daughter, by name, Swetha, aged about 17 years, found missing from 03.09.2021, the petitioner has given a complaint, before the second respondent police. Since, no action has been taken by the second respondent police to secure https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD).No.1390 of 2021 the detenue, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed. 2.Today, the detenue has been produced before this Court and on enquiry, she submitted that since her parents are arranging marriage against her wish, she left the parental home and stayed at Chennai. Now, she wants to go with the parents and she has not been kidnapped or illegally detained by anybody.

3.The parents are also present before this Court. The petitioner, father of the detenue, expresses his willingness to take back the detenue.

4.Since the detenue is secured and she also expresses her willingness to go with the petitioner / father, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed setting the detenue at liberty and permitting her to go with the petitioner.
