ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the 2nd respondent to entertain the petitioner's appeal, dated 04.07.2016 and dispose of the same, in accordance with law, within a stipulated time.

2. According to the petitioner, he has filed an appeal before the second respondent against the order passed by the third respondent on 04.07.2016. But, the second respondent refused to entertain that appeal. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate on instructions submits that now the appeal is transferred to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Melur and the appeal is also numbered and pending enquiry.

In the above circumstances, since the appeal is already taken on file by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Melur, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Melur, is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 04.07.2016 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
