Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 24.11.2015 and to direct the respondents to strictly follow and take appropriate action as per the G.O.Ms.No.16, Information Technology (No.1) Department, dated 11.11.2011 issued by the respondents within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.M.Solaisamy For Respondent No.1 : Mr.R.Velmurugan, Government Advocate.

For Respondent No.2 : Mr.S.Sadeesh Kumar, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 24.11.2015 alleged to have been given by the petitioner in respect of implementation of G.O.Ms.No.16, Information Technology (No.1) Department, dated 11.11.2011, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.It is averred in the petition that the petitioner is a practising Advocate of Madurai Bench of Madras High Court. Further it is averred in the petition that the concerned Cable T.V. Operator https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has not strictly followed the instructions/directions given in G.O.Ms.No.16. Under the said circumstances, a representation has been given on 24.11.2015. But the respondents have not considered the same and therefore the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Mr.R.Velmurugan, learned Government Advocate, has taken notice for the first respondent and Mr.S.Sadeesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the second respondent.

4.Considering the fact that the Government of Tamil Nadu has passed G.O.Ms.No.16 with regard to collection of Cable T.V. Charges and also considering that a representation has been given by the petitioner, this Court is of the view to pass the following order. 5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed without costs and the second respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 24.11.2015 and dispose of the same within a period of one month after giving proper opportunity to the petitioner.
