ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the 1st Respondent to dispose the revision dated 28.02.2017. pending on the file of the 1st Respondent within a time frame. 2.Heard Mr.J.David Ganesan, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Mahesh Raja, the learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 3.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.According to the petitioner, he is owning an extent of 0.05.00 Ares in Survey Nos.22/1A1, 22/1A18, 22/1A2, 22/1A8 at

Thisayanvilai Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District and patta stood in his name. According to the petitioner, the fourth respondent preferred an appeal before the second respondent against grant of patta in favour of the petitioner. According to the petitioner, the second respondent cancelled the patta which stood in favour of the petitioner by his proceedings dated 20.02.2017. Aggrieved by the order passed by the second respondent, the petitioner preferred a revision on 28.02.2017. According to him, the same is still pending consideration and the same has not been disposed of. Therefore, he has approached this Court, seeking disposal of the revision.

4.According to the learned Government Advocate for the respondent, since only a limited prayer has been sought for in the writ petition, he has no objection for issuing a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal within a time frame. 5.Considering the submissions made on behalf of the learned counsels appearing for the parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner dated 28.02.2017, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
