The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to dispose of his appeal dated 18.03.2025, within the time stipulated by this

2. Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is entitled to the property situate in S.No.155 at Rasingapuram Village, Bodinayakanur Taluk, Theni District. He submitted an application before the third respondent seeking issuance of separate patta. The said application was rejected by the third respondent, by an order dated 06.01.2025. The said order has been challenged by the petitioner before the second respondent in an appeal dated 18.03.2025. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the appeal filed by the petitioner would be 2/5

considered in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 18.03.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
