ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to revoke the petitioner's 2/6

suspension and reinstate him in service by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 14.09.2023,

2. Heard Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Ramanathan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The petitioner has been kept under suspension by virtue of order of the respondent, dated 18.12.2020. The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the same in W.P.(MD)No.8561 of 2021 and the same was allowed. The writ appeal filed by the respondent is pending.

5. However, the petitioner learnt that similarly placed persons are considered for reinstatement by revoking the order of suspension. So irrespective of the pending litigation, if similarly placed 3/6

persons are considered for reinstatement, the petitioner's case can also be considered by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 14.09.2023.

6. In view of the same, the writ petition is allowed and the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.09.2023 and pass orders on its own merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
