For Respondent : A.Robinson, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 21 of 2019 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners are in-laws of the defacto complainant. The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences under Sections 294(b), 498(A) and 506(i) of I.P.C. and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No.21 of 2019, seek anticipatory bail.

2.This Court went through the contents of the FIR. The defacto complainant has levelled serious allegations against the first petitioner. Therefore, I am of the view that the first petitioner is not entitled to anticipatory bail. Even though, the learned counsel appearing for the defacto complainant does not seriously oppose the grant of anticipatory bail to the second and third petitioners, the criminal original petition is dismissed as regards https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.10825 of 2019 the first petitioner and this Court grants anticipatory bail to the second and third petitioners.

3.Accordingly, the second and third petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or their appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, Madurai District on condition that the petitioners shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall report before the respondent Police as and when required for the interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 4.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
