Respondent Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner (Register Number 100228128) as Steno Typist, Grade -III, among 331 vacancies in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service and Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service for the year 2013-14 and 2014-15 in reference with the notification Ref.No.18 of 2014 dated 14.10.2014 in which the II Phase Counseling held on 20.07.2016 in the office of the respondent.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 28.02.2019, neither the petitioner nor his counsel appeared. Hence, this Court directed the Registry to post the matter today i.e on 01.03.2019 under the caption "for dismissal". Despite the matter is being posted today i.e on 01.03.2019 under the caption "for dismissal", there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent that the case of the petitioner cannot be considered, since she was not within the zone of consideration. The said submission is also recorded.
