Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take appropriate action to the respondents 6 and 7 to encroach Survey Nos.29, 30, 35/1, 37 and 38 Upalam Urani in Periyapattinam Village, Keelakarai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner made a representation stating that there is widespread encroachment made in S.Nos.29, 30, 35/1, 37 and 38, Upalam Urani, Periyapattinam Village, Ramanathapuram District. 2.On receipt of the representation of the petitioner, being undated, respondent No.3 directed respondent No.5 to take appropriate action and inform the same to the petitioner and the said respondent. Though the said communication was sent on 19.10.2020, no further action has been taken. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
3.In the light of the above, we direct respondent No.5 to take appropriate action pursuant to the Communication of respondent No.3, dated 19.10.2020, by removing all the encroachments made in S.Nos.29, 30, 35/1, 37 and 38, Upalam Urani, Periyapattinam Village, Ramanathapuram District, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
