ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction, directing the 2nd respondent to transfer the patta in favour of the petitioner, by considering his representation dated 18.01.2016.

2.According to the petitioner, the property in S.Nos.108/2, 106/2, 109/3C1, 109/3A1, 162 and 157 belong to his grandfather Nallappa Gounder and grandmother Periyemma during their life time, they executed a settlement deed in favour of the petitioner in respect of above said survey numbers, pursuant to the above settlement, the petitioner is the owner of the property. Subsequently, she applied before the second respondent for transfer of patta and also made a representation on 18.01.2016 to consider her application for transfer of patta. documents carefully.

4.Since the representation of the petitioner is pending from January 2016, before the second respondent, the second respondent/Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Oddanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District, is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders, after giving notice to the rival claimants, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
