O R D E R

This is a Writ of Mandamus seeking direction to the respondent to expedite his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2307/2015/A4 and to pass final orders on merits by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2016 within a stipulated time. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.The complaint initiated by the petitioner herein has taken cognizance by the respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Palani and the petitioner has been asked to appear before him on 19.06.2015 at 11.00 a.m. along with relevant documents. 4.It is the specific case of the petitioner that in accordance with the notice issued to her, she has appeared before the Revenue Divisional Officer and has given her submission also. It is her grievance that enquiry has not been completed and no final orders have been passed. That made the petitioner to give representation to the respondent, with a request to complete the enquiry within a limited time prescribed.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the person against whom complaint has been made is not a party in this writ petition and that during enquiry, the Revenue Divisional Officer has also given an opportunity to Jegadeeswaran, against whom complaint has been given and the enquiry will be concluded shortly.

6.Under such circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the complaint made against Jegadeeswaran, the Revenue Divisional Officer, would have given an opportunity to place his contention. If not given already, Jagadeeswaran shall also be given an opportunity and the enquiry shall be concluded within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
