This is a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 02.08.2016 to fill up the vacant post of Psychiatric Social Welfare Officer in the 2nd and 3rd respondents hospitals.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.An officer of Director of Medical and Rural Health Services (DMS), Chennai, has sent a proposal to the second respondent to fill up the post of Psychiatric Social Welfare Officer. As the proposal includes the name of the petitioner, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking direction to consider his representation, dated 02.08.2016. 4.Under such circumstances, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.08.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
