ORDER

The present petition has been filed by Accused No.3 in Crime No.127 of 2021, on the file of the second respondent police, seeking a direction to the second respondent police to expedite the investigation and the filing of the charge sheet.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent would submit that the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam, on 17.04.2025, and the case has been closed as "mistake of fact"; therefore, no further course of action is contemplated in the said crime number.
