O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to take necessary action against respondent Nos.2 and 3 based on the complaint dated 03.04.2023 on the file of the first respondent, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that the first petitioner is an agriculturist and he availed an agricultural loan from respondent Nos.2 and 3 and borrowed a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- from respondent Nos.2 and 3. The second petitioner along with one Purusothaman offered their respective landed properties as security for the loan availed by the first petitioner. Thereafter, the first petitioner repaid a sum of Rs.9,273/- for several years and however, he was not in a position to repay the remaining amount and consequently, respondent Nos.2 and 3 initiated legal action against the petitioners. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners made a complaint to the first respondent alleging violation of 2/4

the norms governing financial institutions. However, the said complaint has not been taken on file till date. Hence, the petitioners have approached this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the complaint of the petitioners dated 03.04.2023 would be disposed of in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the complaint made by the petitioners dated 03.04.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
