This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation, dated 20.10.2016, within stipulated time may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.10.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this order."
