ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Bank.

2. The petitioner had availed Education Loan for his daughter. The petitioner wants to close the account. He is offering an One Time Settlement (OTS) proposal. I am conscious that One Time Settlement (OTS) proposal has emanate only from the Bank and not from the borrower.

3. Be that as it may, in as much as the petitioner offers to clear the loan liability on certain terms, the respondents would do well to consider the same. The decision shall be taken by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. This writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
