This is a petition seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for violation of the order, dated 20.06.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.21170 of 2018.

2.Heard Mr.Raja Karthikeyan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thambidurai, learned Government Advocate for the respondents. 3.The Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, vide order, dated 20.06.2022 in W.P.(MD)No.21170 of 2018, had passed the following order:- "7.In the light of the above findings, the impugned order dated 23.02.2017 is quashed. Consequently, there shall be a direction to the first respondent herein to pass appropriate orders, granting the retirement and monetary benefits due to her, within a period of four (4) weeks from the receipt of a copy of this order. This Writ Petition stands allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed." 4.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the judgment and order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.

21170 of 2018, dated 20.06.2022, the respondents have not complied with the directions of this Court and they have wilfully and deliberately flouting the orders passed by this Court, dated 20.06.2022.

5.Today, when the matter is taken up, Mr.P.Thambidurai learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents, in compliance of the order passed by this Court, dated 20.06.2022, produced an order, dated 10.08.2023 passed by the third respondent. The order passed by the third respondent, dated 10.08.2023 is taken on record. A copy of the order passed by the third respondent has also been given to the learned Counsel for the petitioner. Thus, the learned Government Advocate submits that as the judgment and order passed by this Court has been fully complied with by the respondents, the respondents may be discharged from the present contempt proceedings and the present Contempt Petition may be disposed of. 6.Mr.

Raja Karthikeyan, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that he also received the copy of the order passed by the third respondent, dated 10.08.2023, and submits that the respondents have made complied with the judgment and order passed by this Court 20.06.2022 passed in W.P.(MD)No. 21170 of 2018. Thus, he submits that he has no objection that the respondents may be discharged from the present contempt proceedings and the Contempt Petition may be disposed of.

7.After considering the arguments, as advanced by the learned Counsel for the parties and after perusal of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.21170 of 2018, dated 20.06.2022 and the order passed by the third respondent, dated 10.08.2023, this Court is also satisfied that the respondents have made fully complied with the directions issued by this Court and no useful purpose will be served in continuing the present contempt proceedings any further. Accordingly, the respondents are discharged from the present contempt proceedings and the present Contempt Petition is disposed of. The file is consigned to record. No order as to costs.
