PRAYER:- Writ Miscellaneous Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to extend the time to send the proposal to the District Collector for a period of three months as fixed in the order passed in W.P.(MD)No.3560 of 2026 dated 09.03.2026. For Petitioner : Mr.H.Arumugam

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This miscellaneous petition is filed seeking extension of time granted by this Court vide order dated 09.03.2026 to shift the TASMAC shop in question.

2.Though two months time was granted by this Court to shift the TASMAC shop, the said direction could not be complied within the stipulated period due to the delay in identifying the suitable alternative premises. He further submits that alternative place has been identified and necessary No Objection Certificate has also been obtained from the authorities concerned. Therefore, it is prayed that further time may be granted to shift TASMAC shop.

3.Considering the above submission and taking note of the fact that an alternative site has already been identified and necessary approvals have been obtained, the petitioner is granted with a further period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to shift the TASMAC shop in question.

4.Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
