ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the petitioner's son namely Marimuthu @ Dorimari, convict No.1261, S/o.Muniasamy on ordinary leave/emergency leave for 30 days for taking treatment in a private hospital for his disability in his left leg due to the bone fracture forthwith by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2025.

2. Heard Mr.J.Sankarapandian, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Nambi Selvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 09.06.2025 is under consideration and suitable orders will be passed within a period of one week.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 09.06.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
