ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction, directing the 2nd respondent to transfer the patta and computer data update in favour of the petitioner based on his representation dated 02.08.2016.

2.According to the petitioner, he had filed a suit in O.S.No.187 of 2001 for declaration in respect of various properties including the property in S.No.590/1A1 and the above said suit was decreed in favour of him on 11.04.2002 and according to him, the decree was not challenged and it had become final. Subsequently, he made an application before the second respondent for transfer of patta and also made a representation on 02.08.2016 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to consider his application. Since no order has been passed, he has filed the present writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the documents carefully.

4.Since the representation of the petitioner is pending from August 2016, before the second respondent, the second respondent/Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Oddanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District, is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders, after giving notice to the rival claimants, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
