PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to allow this Civil Revision Petition thereby fixing time limit for earlier disposal of R.C.O.P.N.59 of 2017 pending on the file of the learned III Additional District Munsif, Madurai Town.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned III Additional District Munsif, Madurai Town, to dispose of the proceedings in R.C.O.P.N.59 of 2017 within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. The first petitioner herein initiated rent control proceedings in R.C.O.P.N.59 of 2017 on the file of the learned III Additional District Munsif, Madurai Town against the respondent herein seeking an order of eviction 1/4
thereby, directing the respondent to hand over the possession of the subject property. The first petitioner is the landlord and the respondent is the tenant under him.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the case in R.C.O.P.N.59 of 2017 within a reasonable time frame to be fixed by this Court. He would further submit that the second petitioner is the senior citizen.
4. In such view of the matter, this Court is of the considered opinion that without going into the merits of the case, since the second petitioner is a senior citizen and the case is pending for more than eight years, it would be suffice to issue a direction to the learned III Additional District Munsif, Madurai Town to dispose of the case in R.C.O.P.N.59 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
