ORDER

The present petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police not to harass the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the official respondents. Considering the nature of the order going to be passed in this petition, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

3. According to the petitioner there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, who is none other than the son of the first petitioner. Based on the complaint given by the third respondent, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that earlier the petitioners have given a complaint against the third respondent and the same was enquired and closed on 28.04.2019. petition is pending against the petitioners and the second respondent did not call the petitioners even for any enquiry. He would further submitted that the second respondent has not harassed the petitioners as alleged by them.

5. Considering the fact that as on today, there is no petition is pending against the petitioners, the second respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. With this direction this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
