O R D E R
The Writ Petition is filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to provide the compassionate appointment based on the Petitioner Representation dated 25.10.2016 and recent representation dated 04.09.2021.
2. According to the writ petitioner, his father was working as Scavenger in the fourth respondent office and on 14.10.2016, his father died due to attack, while he was service. Thereafter, the Petitioner has submitted an application dated 25.05.2016 seeking 1/3
appointment on compassionate grounds. The said application is still pending. Subsequently, the petitioner sent reminders dated 15.05.2020 and 04.09.2021. However, to date, no orders have been passed. Hence he has filed the Writ Petition before this Court.
3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that if the said application submitted by the petitioner is received within time, the same shall be considered in accordance with law as directed by this Court.
5. Considering the representation dated 25.10.2016 and subsequent representation dated 04.09.2021 sent to the respondents which are filed along with proof of acknowledgment in the typed set of paper, this Court, without expressing any opinion on merits, is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.09.2010 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
