O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed to quash the order passed by the second respondent herein wherein the request of the petitioner for renewal of explosives licence has been rejected on the sole ground that a part of the property is located in water body.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ 2/5

petitioner, now he has proposed to restrict his request to the undisputed portion which does not fall within the water body. He would submit a fresh application seeking licence for the aforesaid property.

3. In case any such application is presented, the second respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of application.

4. As far as the case of the fifth respondent, who is the owner of the property is concerned, it is made clear that this Court has not gone into the title issue of the property.

5. With the said observations, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. NCS : Yes/No 03.02.2026 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No apd 3/5
