PRAYER IN W.P(MD)No.18347 of 2016: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order issued by the first respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.R3/2096/2016 dated 14.09.2016 and quash the same. PRAYER IN W.P(MD)No.18348 of 2016: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order issued by the first respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.R3/2096/2016 dated 14.09.2016 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to restore the cheque signing power in favour of the petitioner of Keela Anbil Village Panchayat.

C O M M O N O R D E R These writ petitions have been filed questioning the impugned order of the first respondent dated 14.09.2016, wherein it is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
stated that the cheque signing power of the panchayat was given to the second respondent, due to misappropriation of funds. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.It is common knowledge that the posts of President, Vice President, etc., are no more in existence and therefore, this Court is of the view that no further order is required in these petitions, related to their day to day administration. Hence, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous. But, it is made clear that it is always open to the respondents to initiate appropriate legal action against misappropriation of public funds. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
