ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.07.2016 and issue patta to the petitioner for an extent of 240 Sq.ft. comprised in Natham Survey No.621/9 situated at Munnilai Kottai Village, Athur Taluk, Dindigul District, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.
2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in S.No.621/9 situated at Munnilai Kottai Village, Athur Taluk, Dindigul District, measuring an extent of 880 sq.ft. The grievance of the petitioner adjacent to the said land, on the eastern side, 240 sq.ft of the land is classified as Natham Poromboke, is in his possession. Hence, he made a representation to the respondent on 05.07.2016 seeking patta for the said land and the above representation is pending till date. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition.

4.Since the petitioner's application is pending from 05.07.2016, the respondent is directed to consider the representation filed by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
