ORDER

According to the petitioner, he has filed an application before the respondents to measure the lands in patta Nos.3592, 4399 and 4261 situated at Mailadumparai Revenue Village, Andipatti Taluk, Theni District. It is stated that the third respondent without any notice inspected the petitioner's property and cancelled his patta. Therefore, the petitioner has filed an appeal dated 25.03.2016 before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Periyakulam, Theni District which still pending. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2.Considering the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is direct to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner on 25.03.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
