In the considered opinion of this Court, a direction as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted, in view of the law laid down by this Court in Sugesan Transport Pvt. Ltd., v. the Assistant Commissioner of Police, J2 Adyar Police Station, Chennai and another reported in 2016(5) CTC 577.

However, the learned Additional Government Pleader

submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.89 of 2017.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.89 of 2017 and take action in accordance with law.
