ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the third respondent to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground, by considering his representation dated 13.02.2017. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that since his father died, while he was in service under the 3rd respondent, he submitted an application seeking compassionate appointment and so far he has not been given any appointment and his representation in that regard has also not been considered till date. Therefore, he is before this Court.

3.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Counsel appearing for the respective respondents, who submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered, on merits.

4.Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
