In view of the fact that the issue involved in all the Writ Petitions is one and the same, all the Writ Petitions are taken up together for hearing and disposed of by a common order. 2.In all the Writ Petitions the petitioners have challenged the election notification issued by the second respondent on 19.09.2018.
3.Heard Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.K.Chellapandian, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.A.K.Bhaskarapandian, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4.The election notification was issued on 19.09.2018 but the Writ Petitions have been filed only three days before the last date for filing nomination, namely, 06.10.2018. Since the election process had already commenced and in view of the huge delay, we are unable to entertain these Writ Petitions and the Writ Petitions are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
