Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to give permission for Conducting Kerala Sendai Melam at Navaneethakrishna Temple Procession at Keela Village, Aaikudi, Tirunelveli District, which is schedule to be held on 28.04.2017 at about 3.00 PM to 10.00 PM on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.04.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.T.Bashyam For Respondent : Mr.K.Guru, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for using Sendai Melam in the function mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that on 18.04.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 18.04.2017 and pass suitable orders within a period of two days.
