ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the respondent to survey his land bearing Survey No. 106/1, Patta No. 735 situated at Thiruppachethy North, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering his representation dated 01.07.2016.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the land in S.No.106/1, Patta No. 735 situated at Thiruppachethy North, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District. Earlier, a portion of his land was acquired by the National Highways Authority of India for laying a four-way road lane from Madurai to Rameshwaram. Hence, he filed an application before the respondent to survey and measure the land and fix the boundary, in respect of the remaining area and the above application is pending before the respondent. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the documents carefully.

4.Since the petitioner's application is pending with the respondent, the respondent is directed to conduct a survey along with the Taluk Surveyor and fix the boundary, as per the revenue records, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
