ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 05.08.2016 and take necessary action to conduct fresh tender in respect of the Adaichani Kulam Kanmoi situated at Adaichani Village, Ambasamuthiram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2.The apprehension of the petitioner is that the authorities are taking steps to grant renewal of lease in favour of the existing lessee namely Danushkodi.

3.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the documents carefully.

4.Considering the above, this Court is of the prima facie view that the present writ petition has been filed only on a mere apprehension. Hence, the same is not maintainable. 5.Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. However, if the lease is extended in favour of the existing lessee, the petitioner can challenge the said order, if he is so advised. There shall be no order as to costs.
