ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the 1st respondent to instruct the 2nd respondent to conduct the survey of the land as mentioned in the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2016 and the 3rd respondent to provide suitable Police Protection for smooth survey.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in S.No.220/1B, situated in Keezhakottai Village, Athur Taluk, Dindigul District and the patta is also granted in his favour. Now, the petitioner, with a request to survey his land and fix the boundaries, approached the first respondent on 27.08.2015 and also paid necessary fees. Despite the same, the respondents 1 & 2 are not taking steps to measure his land and fix the four boundaries.

3.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the documents carefully.

4.Since the petitioner's application is pending with the first respondent from 27.08.2015, the respondents 1 & 2 are directed to measure the petitioner's property and fix the boundaries, as per the revenue records, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the neighbouring land owners, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
