ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction for early disposal of C.C.No.24 of 2019 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur.

2. The petitioner is accused No.4 who is involved, along with the other three accused for the offences 457, 380 of IPC altered to 457, 380, 34, 414 of IPC. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that out of the sixteen witnesses, two witnesses were examined. However, further trial is in progress.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on the other hand reported that on account of the abscond of accused No.2, trial could not be proceed further.

4. Since the warrants are pending against one of the accused which are stated to have been issued very recently, direction as sought for by the petitioner, cannot be granted. The police are directed to get the 2/4

presence of accused No.2, secure as quick as possible and cooperate with the trial.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
