Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned suspension order passed by the respondent in his proceedings in ROC.P2/2896/2019, dated 01.09.2021 thereby suspending the petitioner from the post of BDO Kaalayarkovil, Sivagangai District and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner in service at the same post he held at the time of suspension within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed as against the suspension order dated 01.09.2021 issued by the respondent District Collector. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been issued with a charge memo on 08.06.2021, was placed under suspension, and subsequently, enquiry officer was appointed and enquiry has also been completed. However, so far no order has been passed and therefore, the petitioner confines the prayer for a direction to the respondent to pass final orders in the departmental proceedings initiated against him.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent would pass final orders within the time stipulated by this Court.

W.P(MD)No.16654 of 2021 4.In view of the above, this Court without expressing anything on the merits of the writ petition, directs the respondent to pass final orders in the departmental proceedings initiated against the petitioner within period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
