ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records relating to the First Information Report in Crime No.218 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has filed the final report and the same was taken on file in S.T.C.No.288 of 2023 and the same is pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Peraiyur.

3. Since the charge sheet has already been filed and the same was taken on file, nothing survives for further adjudication. Hence, this 2/4

Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
