ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for directing the respondents to conduct the peace committee meeting. There is no provision of law under which the peace committee meeting is convened. Writ of Mandamus is therefore not maintainable. Be that as it may, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that yesterday, the peace committee meeting was convened and that consensus could not be arrived at.
