Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to issue Community Certificate to the petitioner based on the representation, dated 17.03.2017, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J] The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to issue community certificate to her, based on her representation, dated 17.03.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The procedure now being followed for issuance of community certificate is by applying online. It is not in dispute that the

petitioner has applied for community certificate by way of an online application.

3. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the application of the petitioner was considered and since no supportive documents were enclosed, the application has been rejected vide order, dated 08.03.2017.

4. The petitioner also admits that she has received the information through her mobile phone about the rejection.

5. The learned Government Advocate further submits that the petitioner can download the order of rejection, since the application is an online application and thereafter, if she is aggrieved, she can approach the first respondent, who is the redressal officer in terms of the directions issued by the Government.

6. In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to download the rejection order and work out her remedy before the competent authority, in the manner known to law. No costs.
