O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed to direct the respondents to produce the body or person of a detenue namely, Abarnadevi, D/o.Appanavelsamy, aged about 19 years, before this Court.

2. Alleging that her daughter, namely, Abarnadevi, aged about 19 years and was working at 'Actovinyan Garments' at Panthalkudi, was found missing on and from 11.06.2025 and that no action was taken by the second respondent despite the registration of the case in Crime No.61 of 2025 for "girl missing", hence the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner/father.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.61 Page No.2 of 5

of 2025 was registered by the second respondent police for "girl missing". During the course of investigation, the victim was secured and she informed the Police that she is aged about 19 years and she got married to one Deepanraj, who was her colleague when both of them working in a Spinning Mill at Ettayapuram.

4. We enquired the alleged detenue/missing girl. She submitted that she is aged about 19 years and on her own volition, she left her home and married said Deepanraj and she is not under illegal detention of anybody. She expressed her willingness to go along with her husband Deepanraj. The petitioner / father is also present before this Court.

5. Recording the said submissions, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
