This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to take the remaining paddy and rice kept in the Annalakshmi Modern Rice Mill at Melakrishnan Pudhur, Pallam Post, Kanyakumari District vide representation dated 02.06.2023.

2. The petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 02.06.2023 requesting him to take the paddy and rice kept in his rice mill. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2023 would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
