PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tirunelveli, to dispose of the petition in C.C.No.750 of 2022 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tirunelveli, within a stipulated time may be fixed by this court.

Tirunelveli, within a stipulated time may be fixed by this court. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.23 of 2017 registered against the accused person for the offences punishable under Sections 406 & 420 of IPC. He would further submit that though the crime is of the year 2017, there is no progress in the trial process. 3.Considering the oldness of the crime, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tirunelveli, to expedite trial process in C.C.No.750 of 2022 pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
